Well, it definitely is feeling like Summer in the Walls household. We've had nothing to do this week but our heart's desires. I took the boys to see 'WALL-E' yesterday. It was good and the boys liked it. I am pretty sure that Sammy was crying right along with me at the end. Behind the tough facade is a sensitive little boy. Dan has jury duty today so we are stuck at home today. I am thinking pool. I love having a pool we can walk to and not have to take care of ourselves. Very nice, especially when you've got kids.
Tomorrow Papa is coming down for our annual trip to the Del Mar Fair, well actually it is now called the San Diego Fair. Smelly animals, fried food and carnival rides will fill our day tomorrow and I can't wait. The boys are pretty excited too.
So we have been just hanging around having some good old fashioned summer fun.

Summer Vacation
Today was the first day of summer vacation. Yippee! We had a nice leisurely breakfast. No rushing or stressing about being to school on time. We took a trip up to our library, although it wasn't yet open, had a water gun fight and found snails, caterpillars and other bugs in the backyard. The sun was shining and it was hot out.
It didn't take us long to get into summer mode. I just love the first day of summer vacation. It feels like the start of something new and exciting. The possibilities of how you can fill the long summer days seem endless. Swimming, camps, homemade cold lemonade, going to the beach, napping under the fan and so much more. I don't know who is more excited, me or the boys.
Let's see what do we have to do tomorrow...? Oh, absolutely nothing!
